What the Limited Warranty Covers.
The aluminum handles of the Evo Jump Rope covered by this warranty are warranted to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials for the lifetime of the product. Moving parts such as internal shoulder bolts, head unit and split rings are warranted to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from date of purchase. Parts subject to wear and tear such as cables, bearings and rubber o-ring grips are not covered by this warranty. Warranty coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the Evo Jump Rope.
Please note handles spin at different speeds and may produce a variety of spinning noises but those sounds do not affect the performance of the product and do not necessarily mean the product is defective.
What is not Covered. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, carelessness, normal wear and tear (such as to cables, bearings and rubber o-ring grips), tampering, abuse, misuse, misapplication, improper use, the natural fading or discoloration of the handles or cable over time, products that are lost or stolen, or if your Evo Jump Rope is used on concrete, asphalt, dirt, gravel or any other abrasive surface. Only original, unaltered and unmodified items and workmanship are covered. Modifications, alterations or improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repair by anyone other than RX Smart Gear may void this warranty. No other warranties are expressed or implied other than what is specifically stated here.
Other RX Smart Gear jump ropes, equipment, bags, apparel (including hats and headbands) and accessories are not covered under this warranty. Our warranty is valid only when the Evo Jump Rope is purchased through us directly (via rxsmartgear.com or from our staff at an event or competition we are attending) or through an authorized reseller.
What we will do. We will inspect the Evo Jump Rope you return to us. We have sole discretion to determine manufacturer's defects. If your product or part covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair it without charge, or replace it, at our discretion, providing such defect, in our opinion, is due to faulty material or workmanship. Damage or parts not covered under warranty may be repaired or replaced for a reasonable rate (parts and labor) and a fee will be charged for return shipping.
How to Make a Claim for Warranty Coverage. In order to be eligible for service under this warranty, you MUST complete the warranty registration form located at www.rxsmartgear.com/evowarranty within 60 days of purchasing the Evo Jump Rope.
If something goes wrong with the Evo Jump Rope, and to file a warranty claim, you must first contact RX Smart Gear at email@example.com or by telephone (619) 655-3960 at our U.S. headquarters (number is not toll free, charges may apply) to request an “RA Number” to open a potential claim. This will enable us to validate the original purchaser and whether the warranty registration form was timely and validly completed and hopefully we will be able to address any issues prior to purchaser shipping the Evo Jump Rope to us.
If after the initial contact described above RX Smart Gear determines that it needs to inspect the Evo Jump Rope to determine if there is a manufacturer’s defect or not, the original purchaser may send it postage paid by purchaser with a brief description of the problem and the RA Number to:

Shipping Information. Customers are responsible for shipping items to RX Smart Gear, including, without limitation, payment of any and all applicable shipping, handling, insurance, taxes, customs, duties and other fees. For customers in the United States and its territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa) we will cover the cost of return shipping back to you using a carrier and method determined by us in our sole discretion for the repaired or replaced product covered by this warranty. For customers outside of the United States and its territories, and for customers anywhere (including in the United States and its territories) with products not covered by the warranty, you will be responsible for all return shipping related costs, fees and expenses. We recommend that you ship your product with a reputable carrier that can provide tracking information and proof of delivery, such as FedEx or UPS. Customers are responsible for their product until we sign for delivery. RX Smart Gear cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit.
Limitation on Damages. For breach of any written or implied warranty on this product, the purchaser is limited to damages of repair of the product or replacement with an identical or equivalent style, at the election of RX Smart Gear, Inc. RX Smart Gear, Inc. is NOT liable for any inability to perform under this limited warranty due to events beyond its control, such as acts of god, or for any other damages, such as special, incidental, or consequential damages, resulting from the use of this product. Note: some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, incidental, or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.
All Rx Smart Gear products have been thoroughly inspected and found to be in proper operating condition upon shipment from the factory and are warranted to be free from any defect in workmanship and material that may develop. Using an Rx Jump Rope on concrete, asphalt, dirt, gravel or any other abrasive surface will automatically void the Manufacturer's Warranty.
Any alterations of the product made by anyone other than Rx Smart Gear renders this warranty null and void.
Despite every effort to accurately duplicate each product's color when reproduced to our website, actual colors may vary. Due to monitor and/or video card differences, subtle variations in color and surface texture may not be fully revealed. Again, these are custom products and CANNOT be returned. Therefore you need to be certain that any slight variations occurring between the actual color, and the representation on our website, will be acceptable. Cable colors can vary within cable weights of the same color due to differences in the thickness of the outer coating.
Jump rope cables will wear out over time and will need to be replaced. Cable lifespan will vary depending on jumping surface, volume of use, technique and other factors.
