The Zeus cable weighing 1/2 pound per 9ft section was developed to add intensity to your double unders. When exercises become easy they're proven to no longer affect the body. Adding resistance to double unders can completely change a work out as demonstrated in the 2016 CrossFit Games when heavy double unders with a rope inspired by the Zeus rope were first performed. The Zeus cable will develop stabilizer muscles while still provide a cardio based workout infused with the resistance training of weight lifting. This cable was carefully selected to ensure the user can still perform fluid double unders yet not alter the jumper's technique or mechanics. Can you tame the Gods? This rope comes in limited cable colors and is only available with Black Handles with Zeus logo tape.

Holy muscles, Batman
This was my first heavy rope so I wasn't really sure what to expect, but the 1/2 lb seems like the perfect weight - Heavy enough that I get a good burn in my shoulders, arms, upper back and abs (YES even my abs!!) but not too heavy where I can't freestyle jump with it. Built like a tank and spins smoothly like the other Rx handles. This is my new favorite rope. Looking forward to using it for double unders so I can build strength and finally beat my current PR with my lighter cable!

My concerne was beeing able to make criss cross arm jump with an heavy rope. I tough that it may be to firm but it goes very well.

Appropriate challenge
If you're proficient at DU, this (or another heavy rope) can make them more challenging again. It tires out my forearms in an entirely different way than I feel with a speed rope or a drag rope. It also misbehaves differently than a speed rope does, if you get tired and a little sloppy with your technique! I'm a little concerned about how this cable will wear down. My first workout with it (330 DU total) already left a noticeable scuff line for the 8" or so that hits the ground.

great jump rope
This is a great exercise product. Not only you get a great cardio workout, it works upper chest area and arms at the same time.
