Introducing the Alec Smith Signature Grip. We gave RXSG Athlete, former gymnast and CrossFit Games Athlete Alec Smith a blank canvas and said design your dream grip for functional fitness. And he went to town. He knew exactly what he wanted that would allow seamless transition from barbell movements to gymnastic movements. Hence, the first ever palm grip without finger holes or finger loops. He selected the perfect leather to provide ample palm protection yet allow for the surest grip then added a removable neoprene strip for comfortable wrist support on those heavy lifting days. We finished it off with the Rx Grip Keeper to prevent flapping grips during double unders and handstand walks. We hope you enjoy the new Alec Smith Grips. Please let us know how you like them.
*When measuring hand, use a ruler, start at the base of the palm and measure to the bottom of the middle finger with your hand as flat as possible. Due to the nature of natural fibers used, colors and texture may vary.
If you're right on the cusp of one of the sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.

I have used these quite a bit and usually have issues with tearing when I do many reps on the bar and had no issues and my hands weren't as sore as usual. Thank you for making such a great product!

These grips are a blast. I love the freedom of being able to hop from a bar to handstand without losing taking grips off. The no-fold feature is super sweet.
There's a chance I didn't measure my hand correctly, however, I think my hand is right between sizes resulting in what feels like a slightly shorter grip than I'd like. If you don't hold the grip just right when you hop on a pull-up bar, you have to adjust while on the bar, which can be frustrating, especially through the fatigue mid-WOD. But overall, really enjoy these a ton - super smooth when the grip is right.

I bought these mostly as a trial- I wanted thicker palm coverage and figured they were worth the shot since the reviews were good. I prefer going bare-handed on barbell work so these seemed like a good idea, but I was worried about how they would actually "work" when it came time to grab the bar. This morning I used them for the first time in a WoD after only a few short moments trialing them out. The workout was 15-12-9 of cleans and chest to bar. These grips were really stable and helped keep my hands relaxed when doing the pull-ups. I then tucked them into the bands at the wrist to hide the grips while I was working the barbell. Overall, quite impressed at how well they worked right away.
It's not clear in the photos but the leather is rigid enough so that when you jump up to the bar it doesn't flop down (I wondered how this was going to work before buying). I cupped my hands ever so slightly and that locked them in so they landed in the right position on the bar each time.
best grips to date

Seriously I have dropped just over a100$ so far on grips and these have really got me to finally stop spending money on grips that dont work and just get a chance to use them. They work perfectly for crossfit!
